Therefore, your purchased SSL/TLS certificate (e.g., Certum SSL DV) must be activated and issued within the maximum valid validation period after purchase to ensure certificate validity.
- The S/MIME certificate validity shortening policy and schedule differ from public-trusted SSL/TLS site certificates. Your purchased S/MIME certificate will retain the validity period chosen at the time of purchase.
- Applying for an S/MIME certificate requires email verification. Please ensure the email address you provide is valid and able to receive verification messages.
- Once a certificate is issued, its validity period begins and cannot be changed or extended to the previous longer validity period even if done before the new policy date.
- 'Automatic renewal' for paid SSL/TLS certificates generally refers to reminder and renewal services provided by us, not fully unattended renewal. Please follow your certificate management console and any notifications we send to ensure renewal is completed before expiry.
- Installation services are not included in the promotion. For paid installation or managed services, please contact customer support.
